The Cottage
April Cottage is a tastefully refurbished, traditional nineteenth-century whitewashed cottage, perfectly positioned to explore the popular Lakeland villages of Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston, and Keswick, as well as the quieter corners and beaches of the South Lakeland Peninsulas and West Lakes including, Grange-Over-Sands, the historic village of Cartmel and the outstandingly beautiful coastal villages of Arnside and Silverdale.
The cottage accommodation is split over two floors. The ground floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen, spacious sitting room, and a twin bedroom. The upper floor includes the main bedroom, which features a kingsize bed, and the bathroom, which includes a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

Outside Space
April Cottage does not have any garden space. There are, however, two outdoor seating areas – one on each side of the cottage. Both are sun traps on bright days with views of pretty hedgerow lined lanes to the fields and woodland beyond and are perfect for a relaxing cuppa or pre-dinner drink, or simply to take some down time from exploring the wonderful Lake District landscape. If you are lucky, you may see sheep being herded from field to another by the local farmer, and the birdlife, of course, is fantastic.
Parking
On street parking is available directly opposite the cottage on the lane. Parking for additional cars may be found nearby along the roadside around the village.
